IN911 About the program
IN911 is a statewide ESi-Net (Emergency Services InterNetwork) this is a specialized type of IP (Internet Protocol) network connecting all primary PSAPs throughout the state. Its primary purpose is to deliver 911 calls throughout the state. Over time, the network has grown to include the delivery of text services, IDACS, wireline 911, CAD, database and disaster recovery systems as the needs of local 911 authorities have changed.
IN911 is a large scale state program that has routed over 40 million emergency requests since 2006. The network uses evolving standards and best practices recommended by the FCC, NENA, APCO, and ATIS.

texTTY Text FOR 911 Platform
texTTY is a statewide text-FOR-911 program provided by the Indiana State 911 Board to PSAPs throughout Indiana. The texTTY application allows the general public to send text messages to 911 from any cellular device with an active SMS service plan.
In addition to this, texTTY allows 911 centers to convert voice calls to text sessions if the situation requires it. Text-FROM-911 has improved communication capabilities between 911 centers and the general public.

MEVO Message EVOlution
MEVO is a disaster recovery system provided to any PSAP in Indiana. The MEVO system provides a backup 911 call delivery method in the event that a PSAP needs to be evacuated or if the primary 911 equipment fails.
The system can be used parallel to the primary 911 system or can be utilized in EOC situations.
